HELLO AND WELCOME TO MY SITE! I'M TIM, A WEB AND GRAPHIC DESIGNER AS WELL AS A FRONT END DEVELOPER. I LOVE TO CREATE STYLISH AND PROFESSIONAL WEBSITES. FOLLOWING W3C STANDARDS.
Hello, I'm Tim, a web and graphic designer as well as a front-end developer. Graduated in "Web Media and Graphic Design" at Front Range Community College. I have worked on various web projects over the past few years.
I love to design creative websites for the people who want to be heard! Professional as well as casual design. Using the latest techniques in web standards, web design, project management, and SEO.
My goal is to build websites with solutions in mind. Past experiences have enabled me to develop my skills for creating websites. A design is just a design unless it addresses the clients needs and gives them the results they are looking for.
Aquent - Pearson eCollege | Jr Web Developer & Content Administrator
May 2011 - November 2011
My contract with Person eCollege was as a Jr. Web Content Developer. I was brought on while Person was in the middle of a large migration of online college courses from various platforms to the eCollege learning platform. My responsibilities were developing courses, packaging and backing up courses, providing QAs to other developers to assure that all courses were meeting expectations, and learning different software in order to assist with the transition of content.
This website was a project for my a Web Design 2 class at FRCC. It was a group project with different responsabilites for each member. I helped design the layout of the site. I also was responsable for coding the HTML and CSS for the site. I incorporated a jQuery tool tip for some of the icons and accordian menu for some of the pages. The site was later modified by MGD faculty.
This website is a redesign of a previous blog/portfolio site for Felipe Nogueira. I designed the Drupal theme from a wireframe built in Photoshop. I also added jQuery for the animation effects on the projects page. I also designed this to be a responsive design so it is viewable on tablets and smart phones. It has a twitter feed as well.
This website was a redesign of a portfolio site for Felipe Nogueira. He wanted a blog and portfolio site in one. I designed a child theme from the themematic framework for Wordpress to fit his needs for what he wanted on his site. It had a twitter and facebook feed as well.
This website was a project for my a Web Design 2 class at FRCC. I incorporated a jQuery slideshow and jQuery smooth scrolling on the pages; as well as a PHP gallery page for my other work. All the design and coding was done by me.
This website was a personal project while trying out HTML5 and CSS3. I went for a one page design that used jQuery smooth scrolling to slide up and down the page. I also used CSS3 to get a lot of the effects and styles I wanted.
I took various photos I had and a few elements I created in Photoshop and put them together to make this image. Used blending effects and color adjustments to make it more dramatic.
This was a parody movie poster print project I did in 2011. Everything was created in Photoshop or Illustrator. It was all compiled in Photoshop and I used various layer styles and effects to achieve the look I wanted.
This was a typography project I did in Photoshop. I messed around with different fonts and styles to achieve the look I wanted. I also picked one of my favorite quotes to do it with.
